Meet Dr. Enrique Hernandez

Dr. Hernandez has been practicing orthodontics for more than 15 years. He has dental degrees from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and “Pontificia Universidad Javeriana” in Bogota, Colombia. Dr. Hernandez received his certificate in orthodontics from Vanderbilt University and since then he has served as a full-time faculty member at various orthodontic programs in the US and Canada.

At the present, he holds a faculty position at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine’s Department of Orthodontics and has been appointed team orthodontist at the Children’s Hospital in Denver as the cleft lip and palate specialist.

Dr. Hernandez teaches residents the management of complex cases that require combined orthodontic/orthognathic surgery treatment, treatment of pre-adolescents, and management of patients with craniofacial anomalies.
